The multicultural activity of the Friendship House is arranged by Oulu Settlement with funding from RAY (Finland’s Slot Machine Association). The primary objective of this activity is to help immigrants feel at home. Friendship House groups are arranged at the Setlementtitalo Toppelius on Torikatu 16 and at other locations near people. In addition to various clubs and groups that meet regularly, there are festivities, events and trips. A lot of immigrants participate in the activities, but Finns are very welcome to join, also. True to its name, the goal of Friendship House activity is that people can find friends in each other!
